1. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the first destination of the day, the Eklingji Temple, located about 22 km from Udaipur. This ancient temple complex is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the 8th century by the Mewar dynasty. Your guide will give you a brief history of the temple and its significance in Hindu mythology. You will have the opportunity to explore the temple complex and observe the daily rituals performed by the priests.
2. After visiting the Eklingji Temple, you will head to the Sas Bahu Temple, located nearby. This 10th-century temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is known for its intricate carvings and architecture. Your guide will explain the significance of the temple and the stories behind the carvings. You will have time to explore the temple and take some pictures.
3. Next, you will head to the Ruined Old Jain Temple, located in the countryside outside Udaipur. This ancient temple was built in the 10th century and is known for its unique architecture and beautiful carvings. The temple is now in ruins, but your guide will explain its history and significance in Jainism.
4. After exploring the ruined temple, you will head to Indra Sarovar, a beautiful lake surrounded by hills and greenery. This serene and peaceful place is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Our full day city tours are designed to provide a comprehensive and comfortable experience, complete with an air-conditioned car and knowledgeable guide. Participants are required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their reservation.
Cancellations made more than 12 hours prior to the tour start time will be eligible for a full refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the tour start time will not be eligible for a refund.
No-shows: If you do not show up for the tour without cancelling in advance, you will not be eligible for a refund, including the non-refundable deposit.
Inclement weather: If inclement weather is forecasted on the day of the tour, the tour will still go ahead unless deemed unsafe by the tour guide. If the tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
Vehicle maintenance: In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown, we will do everything in our power to provide alternative transportation. If alternative transportation is not available, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
Tour guide availability: Our knowledgeable guides are a key component of our city tours. In the event of a guide's absence, we will do everything in our power to provide a substitute guide of equal or greater experience. If a substitute guide is not available, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
